Wanted to remind everyone that we will be getting together this Sunday evening at our house for Bible Study!

Since we missed a lot of people at our last Bible Study, we talked about how we spend our time and making sure that the time is spent wisely. Andy did a great job breaking that all down.

Hey, let's make sure we are following James 5. Let's confess our sins to one another and pray for one another. This is the only way we bring about healing in our group. Let's be honest with one another. Let's not let go of "sharing the life together." I love you all and look forward to seeing you on Sunday night!

The Best Question Ever

We had a great close-knit meeting last night. We've started back up with The Best Question Ever series again! Just be reading Ephesians 5! You will be right in track! Hey, what stops you from focusing on doing the wise things when it comes to only depositing time in things that matter? What distracts you from the important things?

GPS- Recalculating

Hey Guys!

It has been a while since we've met! We are going to pick back up sometime this week! We will nail down a date and I will send out a text or call you about when/where.

I don't know about you guys, but man, the enemy has been at work in my life! It's like he knows just where to hit, and tries to take me down everytime! I want us to remember that we are a family. We share together, hurt together, and rejoice together. Right now, seems like we are all getting kind of isolated. Let's pull together, hold each other up, and get back on the right track.

Before we meet, just spend some time with Jesus and make sure everything is cool with Him. Make sure your life right now is lining up with exactly where He wants you to be. Isn't it amazing that we can just stop and get back in line with Him? Kind of like Francis Chan said at Passion2010 with the GPS - Recalculating. Don't forget that guys. Right now, I think a lot of us are just needing to be "recalculated." Well, let's not waste any more time. Let's get back on the right track with God leading us where we need to go.

Concern

Wow! It has been a while since we've had a blog post or even met! I just wanted to touch base with everyone. Due to the 99, business, and everything else, we aren't meeting right now. We will probably pick back up in May sometime. I think we may get together just for fun one time before that.

Be in prayer for each other. I am concerned for our Small Group. Many of you have heard that. I feel like Paul in 2 Corinthians 11. "Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly - and indeed you do bear with me. For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

I cannot say that I have been perfect or right on track, but I can see how the devil is trying to break up our little family! Please be praying for one another. Spend time with Jesus. Make sure you are walking right with God. If you need to, tap into the wisdom of Mama Joan. If you need to, call somebody in our group who has been where you are and talk to them. Let's band together instead of separating. I love all of you and miss you. I am praying for you!

Iron

"As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." (Prov. 27:17).

We are really learning the meaning of this verse right now. In studying wisdom, we have come to find that we need each other more than ever. Life is full of decisions, and we must rely on each other to stand together before God in making these decisions. We have a wonderful leader who is there to help us. Two points of reflection today:

1) How is your relationship with God? When is the last time you've really spent time with Him?
2) Looking at your current situation, is the path you are on taking you towards your goals and dreams?
3) Based on your past experiences, your current circumstances, and your future hopes and dreams, what is the wise thing to do right now?

I love you all and see you as family. I can't wait to meet again.
